A Reason To Paint

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Persons need reasons to do everything, don’t they? They need reasons to be happy.

They need reasons to make changes. Like a new year.

The persons also need reasons to do the things that they like to do. Because if they don’t have a reason, they feel guilty for enjoying themselves.

I kinda think of it like retiring. They work as hard as they can for years and years until they feel it’s ok to enjoy themselves.

They wait for the right times to be happy. When they could have had moments of happy all along.

So I told Girl Person yesterday that instead of finding a reason to be stressed, it was time to have a reason to paint. Something that she really likes to do.

But she thinks she do else have the time until all the other work is done. Or until taking care of me for the day is done. Or until it all is done.

The reason to paint is that she needs to and wants to.

It can be as simple as that.

Persons right now are trying to get healthier because it’s a new year. Or trying to make major changes. But they are the same persons they were in 2023. They deserved to be all of those things then. And they deserve it now. Do you have a reason to believe that? I want you to believe in that. I want you to believe in you and your right to be happy. Your reason to paint if you want to.

Sometimes, I know you have so much worry. I know my persons do right now trying to get me vet appointments and get me better. But there’s a reason you are here. There is a reason life is beautiful.

Find your inner light and your inner painter. And be happy. Please be happy.
