What Will You Do With It?

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. You are unique! Did you know that? The chances that you…you…would have been born and be here are slim. Yet here you are! I’m so glad!

Some of us have natural confidence. Yep. I do.

But some do not have the natural inclination to see what they have that is special.

And I’m not just talking about that money stuff. I’m not just talking about what material possessions you have. Although if you do have that, there’s nothing wrong with that.

All of us, every single one of us, has something unique to give the world. But are you giving? You have something amazing to share. What will you do with that something special? I don’t care what age you are. It’s time.

In a world that loves to take, it’s rare to see people give. Whether it’s time. Or money. Or simply a kind word out of their mouths. And I think sometimes, individuals don’t realize just how much they can do to make the world a better place. You have that ability unlike anyone else. Because no one else is you. No one else is me. No one else is Digby.

Maybe you can run fast. Maybe you’re a good athlete! How would you use that? Would you entertain others and make them happy by playing a sport?

Or would you use that ability to volunteer at a nursing home and push people around to get outside?

Maybe you can talk a lot about pretty much anything. How would you use that? Would you tell stories to shelter dogs?

Or would you help someone learn a language?

Maybe you don’t have much money. But maybe you have some extra time. Oh, that is valuable. What will you do with that? Would you send someone a card to brighten their day?

Or would you give your dog an extra walk?

You see, we all have something. A trait we are born with. Or a trait that we learn. No one. No one. No one is you.

What will you do with that? Be the best you that YOU can be. Don’t short change others by not giving what you can. Be honest with yourself. Be different. Be you.
