This is Peanut Butter Brickle. You know what? I like snacks. Lots of snacks. I think I may actually like snacks more than I like dinner. Or lunch. Or breakfast. Snacks are life. Digby definitely knew this. I miss him eating all of my snacks.

So yesterday, when the persons said we had to head back to that Miami, Florida place, I didn’t ask many questions. I’m used to plans changing.

I mean, weren’t we supposed to be heading up north? Seems like we are just turning back around.

Because we are turning back around. Our life is like the Hokey Pokey.

The only thing I was really concerned about was if we had enough snacks. Boy Person always asks what snacks we have too.

And Girl Person had packed some. She packed carrots and hummus and nuts and drinks for the persons. And for me and Fruity, we had beef jerky and sliced ham and good, cold water. I love snacks.

But when you love something, sometimes it’s hard to pace yourself. You don’t really think about saving for a rainy day.

I certainly didn’t hold back in my snack eating. Nor did Fruitycake. Nor did the persons for that matter. And I have to wonder, since we have another five hours to drive today, now what? Where are the snacks? In my belly. My really cute belly.

I think that life should be like snacks. Don’t save them. Eat them. Enjoy them. Don’t wait.

Some persons wait until they are older to enjoy life. Thinking that day will come some day. It may. Or it may not. Now what? You’ll regret not living to the full when you could have.

I know I don’t feel my best now. I know. I’m not ignoring it. And I do have to slow down. But not with the snacks.

Why are we going back to that Miami, Florida place? The persons have some papers again for that Italy place. You see, there are many pieces to the Italy puzzle.

We don’t know how it all fits yet. Or when it will. But waiting for things to be easy when your heart wants to do something is not possible. Your heart leads you to at least try. And your stomach leads to you buy more snacks for the adventure.
