This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I don’t know how many roads that I have traveled on. Just the last few days, it’s been a lot.

Can you imagine the roads I’ve traveled on my whole life?

None of these roads have been easy. In fact, I remember when persons told us not to travel at all. I remember when persons told me I was too old. Even ten years ago.

I also know that the road we are on now…the road we have chosen now…is not an easy one. In fact, many would have given up by now. Many would have quit when it came to that Italy place.

And my senior dog road? Many. Many would have given up on me by now too.

The road chosen is sometimes our own road. No one else chose it. There may be no one else on it. But that doesn’t mean it’s not the right road. For us. Your road may be only your road too. That’s ok. If you want to be on that road. The good thing is, when we are on a road alone, we set the speed limit.

You may wonder why this blog is so short today. Shorter than my corn dog tail.

The blog is short. Because Girl Person has been up with me all night. And every time she tried to write it, I asked to go for a walk. Or outside. Or inside. Or on the couch. Or. Outer space. Let’s go there.

That’s right. Girl Person won’t let me down. And she won’t let you down. The blog has always been important to us and hopefully to you. And this is our road. The one we have chosen. We share it with you.
