The Investigator

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Some weeks at the office are just brutal. I never know where my office is going to be. But I always have a job. And I always do my best. Especially when I have to be an investiGATOR.

That’s right. I may be in a vacation rental in this Florida place right now. But my job is actually extremely important.

There is an alligator that roams these canals.

And I have to make sure he doesn’t cause any trouble. And yesterday, I smelled him. I can smell trouble a mile or 500 miles away.

So I alerted Girl Person. I told her that the alligator was there. No. He wasn’t doing anything that an alligator shouldn’t do. Because alligators can do whatever they want to do.

But not in my yard while I’m here. Not on my watch.

An investigator is proactive. An investigator is always waiting. Like me.

This may be a week that a lot of persons don’t work. But my job never ends. It just changes. And I like that. I also like alligators. There’s no reason not to like someone just because they are different than you. But it is ok to be cautious and careful around anyone. Even an alligator minding his own business.

But I have my business too and I’m a good multitasker. I can keep watch on an alligator and a Fruitycake at the same time.

I can crave a peanut butter sandwich and a steak and spaghetti all at once. I’m multitalented and a multitasker.

Since I’m an investigator, that means I collect evidence.

And I think it’s good to always be observant. I love my family. And you always have to protect the ones you love. You don’t wait until something bad happens to them to take care of them. You take care of family during good and bad times.

If something doesn’t feel right in your life, investigate.

Trust your instincts. Take care is yourself and the ones you love.
