This is Fruitycake. If there’s one thing I’ve learned during my life so far, it’s that what you think about matters.
What you tell yourself matters. And how you treat yourself matters and makes a difference on the way you treat others.
So I guess I’ve learned more than one thing, haven’t I? Also I’ve learned when you get dinner delivered early, you have to wait an hour to eat. What is this? Swimming after dinner?

The persons were having a down day yesterday. They were really feeling bad about how long it’s taking to get to that Italy place.

They were feeling bad about selling their bikes and other things. It was just one of those days that they couldn’t win anything.

So when you can’t win, you may think about giving up. Not trying. Throwing in the towel.
And Girl Person had done just that. As she walked down to the water and the Airbnb to have a good cry, that’s when she saw Cecil. That’s what we think his name was.

A visitor. A magical visitor. A very big visitor. Whose presence was unexpected. Whose presence literally turned our whole day around. A visitor that made Girl Person remember what was important. And that she was important too. A big and beautiful manatee. Cecil.
Cecil could have went down any canal. Cecil could have chosen any vegetation to eat. But he came up to Girl Person. He made his magic known. He gave some of his magic to her. Freely and gladly and happily.
I think persons need to be more like Cecil. Everyone will get down every now and again. But it’s not ok to be down every day. It’s not ok to let the problems of yesterday or last year or ten years ago affect your future or your now.

It’s not ok to think so low of yourself that you treat others less. Because that’s what happens. To be your best and to do your best for others, you have to love you. You have to find your magic to pass it on.
You have to be a Cecil.
If we look around, every single day, nature will tell us what we need to know and what we need to hear and what we need to see.
But your eyes have to be open. And that starts with your heart. You can do the magic you were born to do. Believe it. See it. Watch the magic unfold.
