This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Life is full of risks. Even before we get out of bed in the morning, our heads tell us all the things that we are afraid of. Unless you’re Fruitycake.
Our heads tell us all of the things that may happen. Are you like that? Do you think like that?
Our persons do. They both think and overthink it all. They try to be positive for others.
But they also have a problem with self confidence. And with believing in themselves.
I believe in them. But that’s not enough. Especially now. What they are trying to do…moving to a different country and redoing a house that needs rescued is beyond what they thought they ever could do or would do.
But I do know this. Life is a risk. And risking it all doesn’t mean you will have a reward. Sometimes things simply don’t work out. That’s the truth.
I mean, when they adopted me, it was a risk. They didn’t know me. But I didn’t know them either.
It took trust not only in our own abilities but of the other to make it work. We made many mistakes along the way. I laugh just thinking about it.
And it could be a mistake to move to another country. It could be.
But it’s a risk we are going to take. I said it. We are doing this.
Next week will be busy with paperwork and a bit of stress to figure it out. But the risk of not trying is greater to our souls. It’s time to move forward and risk it. Let’s do this!
