This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. You know, I don’t like to be late. I don’t know what I’m being late for, but I don’t like it.
I see all the persons running around everywhere and I don’t know where they are going and why they are trying to get there so fast.
They don’t look at anyone else or talk to anyone else usually unless they are mad or irritated. And well, since I’m trying to learn all of the things I am supposed to learn, I’m copying that.
I bark at other dogs. I growl too. I pull on the leash. And I’m just copying the persons. But Brickle says it’s not a good idea to copy the persons most of the time. He says dogs are much more reliable sources of information.
Brickle says hurrying never helped. He said persons hurry so much that they forget where they are.
He says to slow down like Digby Pancake did. He said the only thing late for Digby was dinner time. And he said that’s just because he was looking forward to the next one. I think I can learn a lot from Digby. I have a feeling I always will be learning from Digby.
Girl Person says that life has been hard for them lately. But she said I need so much work and I have so much to learn that it’s making them forget to be sad.
Well, then hurry up and feel better, persons.
The sunshiney is out. And so are my smiles.
That is something you should never be late for.
