Not Hoping. Believing.

This is Digby Pancake.  I don’t have much energy to write a long blog today.  It is not because I don’t want to.  It is because I have to save my energy and the persons’ energy to take care of me.  Sometimes, persons think self care is a day at the spa.  Or a special meal.  But sometimes, self care is to being kind to yourself.

I have heard so many talk about hope lately. We hope many things for others.  A successful career.  A big family.  Wealth.  All of those things are good.  It is good to hope good things for others.

But what about believing?  Would I rather believe or hope that I get better?  If I hope, there is a chance I will not get better.  But if I believe and I truly believe, my mind will tell my body.  I will believe I am getting better, so I will get better.  Believing means you are certain.  And I believe.

Will I be as fast as I once was?  I hope that I will be.  But I know that I will not.  What I do believe is that I can still enjoy life like the sunshiney, food, all of the food.

But what happens if you believe and it does not come true? You did all that you could.  It was real.  And that is never to be regretted. Don’t anyone tell you it was not worth it.

So keep believing in me too.  I need it.

I love each and every one of you because you believe in me as much as I believe in you.
