This is Fruitycake. Sometimes, dogs do have to state the obvious. What we have going on right now is ridiculous.
But you know what? When you are in a pot of marinara sauce, you have a few choices. You can soak up the yummy in that pot.
Or you can try to jump out of the pot and just lay there.
And so. We are in the pot. And although we are soaking wet from all of this torrential rain, we are trying not to get down.
It’s very hard when the mud is all over you, you can’t get your clothes dry, and things just aren’t working too well. They aren’t working too well.
Yesterday, we slid down the path to the sea. And we tried to concentrate on the beauty. And the waterfalls that the rain makes. We did pretty good for while.
But when the rain continues nonstop, and we can’t find dry wood, it makes things cold. I’m thankful for my blankets and our bed for sure. There is a lot to be thankful for. Even when things are ridiculous.
We can all get ourselves into situations like when I chase the wild pigs. I know it’s not the best idea. But I still want to do it. And so I do it.
The persons didn’t know it would rain this much. Or be this cold. Or be this hard. We can have an idea of how hard something will be. Sometimes it’s easier. Sometimes it’s the hardest thing you’ll ever do. But in the end, that ridiculous thing may be what keeps you alive. What you should do. What you need to do for a bigger picture. And we are going to concentrate on that.
Ridiculous or life? Everything can be ridiculous to someone else. But if it makes us better or happy or fulfilled, be ridiculous. Be you.

Maybe you should use that big “shelf”space by the stairs in your kitchen to store wood. It would keep it dry & readily available.
