This is Peanut Butter Brickle. We’ve had such a good few weeks. We’ve had some great beach time.
Oh, I love the beach. I really do. To put my paws in the sand and simply stare at the waves is my favorite thing to do.
And I’ve found that I love island time too. It’s even different than beach time. I really liked being at that Tybee Island, Georgia place for the weekend.
I liked how the persons had their own style. I liked how things were colorful. Like me.
Even though we left the island today, and even though I was only there a short time, I learned a lot. And I want to carry it with me.
I want to carry the island time. When I don’t care what others are doing. Because I’m on an island.
When I don’t watch a clock. Because I’m on an island. When I have fun. Because I’m on an island.
It’s true that we can all be serious. Especially me.
There is always a time for that. But there is more time for island time. We all need it.
The next couple of weeks, we will be staying at our friends house so that we can save a little of that money stuff and rest while Boy Person helps them with a school bus project. Remember when we stayed there at the barn with Ellie and Juneau? It will be nice to see them again.
We may not be on an island the next few weeks. But I’ll make sure to make time for island time now. Wherever I am. You should too.
