This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Today we make a long trek back to that Florida place.
If Slow Ride the car cooperates. She’s been having some issues I guess you could say. Tire problems.
Problems with the new tires. Problems with parts falling off at random. Will we get there? We don’t know.
And hey. I can relate to Slow Ride. I’ve been dragging a little too.
I guess in some ways because it’s hard to go back to that Florida place when we have so much to do there.
It’s hard to go back to that Florida place when we’ve had such a wonderful few months in the mountains.
It’s hard to go back. But we have to tie up some loose ends to be ready to get on that plane to that Italy place.
I’ll be honest with you. In a lot of ways, it’s hard to go back home. All your mistakes are there. All your memories are there. Maybe that’s why we travel so much.
I know my opinion won’t be a popular one. But home isn’t for everyone. And sometimes it’s ok to go to a new home and a new start.
That’s why we are looking forward to going to our little house in Italy. It’s already a new home and we haven’t even got there yet.
But now, it’s time to go back to that Florida place with a sunshiney state of mind. I am strong. And I know my persons are too. Fruitycake is a different story.
Just like you have to wrap up a present to give it to someone, you have to wrap up things that tie you down to get a new present. A new now. A new start.
So let’s go back to the sunshiney state with a sunshiney state of mind. Slow Ride, put on your big girl pants. You know. Your tires. And let’s go!
