Where’s Brickle?

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I get asked so many questions. am I so handsome? Is my corn dog tail naturally this short or did I pay for it?

Yea. Many questions are asked on a daily basis. But lately, I get questions asked about me that in my opinion, are pretty much open ended. An open ended question. Where’s Brickle? Because I disappear.

Actually, I’m usually in plain sight. But no one knows where to look. Because they aren’t used to me being so free. So. Me.

For most of my life, that leash thing has held me back. And it’s not like I want to run away my persons. But having a bit of freedom to do what you want to is priceless. Even little decisions on how long I want to stay by the creek.

Or how far I want to walk up that hill. Or not at all. Where’s Brickle? Where I want to be at the moment. And that’s a great feeling.

No one has absolute freedom in life. We all have restraints. But we all deserve to have a few moments each day that are our own. Without being told how to feel or what to do.

That took Fruitycake a little while to get used to. Because he just was so scared we would leave him.

He was scared to have any freedom or to leave our side. But freedom goes both ways. Trust goes both ways.

As a dog, I implore you to safely give your dog a choice every day. Whether it’s how long to sniff a tree or how far she wants to walk. Or a choice on what to eat. Listen to where your dog’s favorite place is. Go there.

Freedom is love. Where’s Brickle? Come and find me. I found the perfect place to me.

We are moving today to another dog friendly spot in this Georgia place. Stay tuned! This one is very…different.

I love you Brickle and Fruitycake. You are in my prayers every night along with GP and BP. I don’t like calling them that because I know what their names are. My boy Colby who is 14 and a half may be facing neck surgery. I am sick tonight with worry. Saw our regular vet today on emergency visit and will see a neurosurgeon tomorrow if he isn’t doing better in the morning with the meds they sent home.😥🐾🙏

Have fun Brickle and Fruitycake hope you get to enjoy many new sights and sniffs today. Freedom is good but have to think of safety first…. PS loved your Rock City video trip. Was there many years ago with my mom…you all did great with the maneuvering all the people, steps and tight places and a few other doggos…
