This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. When the persons told me we were going to leave the beach and try to find warmer weather, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to go. But today, we are headed to that Savannah, Georgia place.
But as Brickle tells me, as much as he loves the beach, there is a season for everything. He says that change is good.
He says that as much as you love something, it’s good to find out what else you can love. He said that’s living.
I agree with that. The more that we go places, the more I want to learn about. The more I want to experience. The seasons are definitely ways to experience different things.
Because different things grow different places at different times. Like peaches in the Georgia place. It’s just not the season right now.
But it is the season for lettuce. It is the season for greens. It is the season for sweet potatoes. What a peach this Georgia place is.
Isn’t the world such an amazing place? Aren’t we so fortunate to be here on it?
When I was a stray, I didn’t get the opportunity to try many foods. I didn’t get the opportunity to think about what I was eating or how it tasted.
I didn’t get to think about what else could be out there. Now that I know, there is no end to what I can taste. What is your favorite food?
My name is Fruitycake for reason. I am full of nuts and fruits and good things.
Just like the earth we live on. How much do you appreciate every day and an opportunity to taste life? Be open to what is in season at this time in your life.
It may not be what you enjoyed in the past. But this season is meant to be enjoyed too! Taste it! I will be!
