This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Today is the day we pack up and leave the Florida Keys.

The persons sure did love our time here and we did too. But it’s getting too hot too fast.

And we need to make our way back to the farm for a few weeks so that Brickle can see a vet person about that Lump Monster.

On a day like this, it’s easy to let the sad feelings be stronger than the happy ones. But as I was standing under a palm tree today and I looked up and saw all the coconuts, I wondered.

If a coconut fell on the persons’ heads today, would they even feel it? They are so busy looking down and thinking about all of the things they will miss. And they would forget they could make a coconut pie.
They would forget they could make a coconut cake with that coconut.
Isn’t it easy to focus on what is wrong in our day?
It’s easy to focus on thoughts that tell us we don’t deserve to be happy. It’s easy to focus on thoughts that say you’ll never be happy again. Oh. You will.
Let all the blessings hit you like a coconut. Feel it. Don’t ignore them.
Take those thoughts and leave them behind. Move on to your next blessing. It’s out there.
We are on the road today and headed to a state park for two nights to rest.
Then we will be at the farm on Sunday. We can’t wait for Brickle to get some relief. That’s the best thing we can look forward to. Not a place. Good bye Florida Keys!
