This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Today is the day. Yeah. We are a day late leaving on our new travels. But when the rain comes pouring down along with your tears, you have to just wait it out.
We have a 2000 mile journey. We have one week to reach that California place from this Georgia place. We can’t tell you all of the details just yet, because it’s kind of a secret. But we will tell you that this is going to be fun!
Sure. We are a bit older than when we first started traveling. And we may not move as fast. But travel is what we like. And the persons say we can do this. And I believe them.

It is going to be hard today to tell our friends Juneau and Ellie goodbye. Juneau was just a baby when we got here 5 months ago.

And Ellie was rescued later.

In some ways, it feels like we have always known them. And in many ways, our hearts will break as we are pulling out of the driveway. But they understand we have go. For now.
But the persons say that we can always come back for a visit. Friends become family sometimes. And this time, when words escape us and barks are silent because we don’t know what to say, we will just wave. And know that we will be back.
But for right now, while we can, we have more work to do for animals. And so that’s what we are going to do. That’s what we do.

And that surprise we can’t tell you right now? The big reason we have to head to California so quick? You’ll have to wait a month to see…it will be worth the wait.
Let’s do this. Let’s have a great first day on the road.
Our days will be long. But we hope you’ll join us. You’ll be with us every mile of the way. Just like always.
