This is Fruitycake. We all do a lot of waiting, don’t we? We may wait in line at a grocery store. 

Or we may wait to see a Doctor. 

I think we do spend a lot of time waiting for something or someone. But do we have to wait? I wondered that while I was waiting for my slice of pizza yesterday in this Italy place.

We had to go into town in a hurry. Because we heard about another bad rainstorm coming Monday. Today. And we knew we didn’t have enough supplies in the house. We already used our emergency supplies in the other emergencies. So we got into town to see what we could get. But of course, we had to have a snack. So Boy Person went to the panetteria. 

While we were in the brief sunshiney, on the park bench, me and Girl Person decided to watch persons and observe them. We listened to people speak Italian. And we heard the birds. But we really heard the birds. We really heard the people. We really watched the people. We were present. And really there. 

So when Boy Person got back, and told me thank you for waiting, Girl Person said we weren’t waiting. We were living. Being observant and present.

There was no wait when we were doing. We didn’t wait to live until the pizza came. We lived in the moment before that too. 

Don’t wait in life for a moment or an event to live. Appreciate the wait now. Before you get to that part. 

Life is not just about pizza. Even I know that.

Look at everything that goes into your moment. Now. And really live it. Don’t wait.

Content creators and writers all make their living thru their audience. And we think of our audience as friends. We never ever want anyone to give when they can’t. Or don’t want to.
