This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Just a reminder that I’m not a real raccoon. I just sincerely love digging thru trash. Any trash will do.

The next week is going to be very busy. Very busy. Boy Person has to work on our friends’ bus for them.

Girl Person has to make a lot of travel arrangements. And vet appointments for papers to fly on the plane to go to that England place.

We need to sell Slow Ride for Boy Person’s mom person who let us borrow it. Sure has been a good car and friend to us.

And we need to pack. Get road trip snacks. There is a lot.

Because next week we will make the drive from this Georgia place to that New York place where we will catch the plane. And we have to get Boy Person’s flight too. He has to fly separate to save that money stuff.

Are we nervous? We have no time to be nervous. Everything has to fit together like a puzzle.

Everything has to go together like peanut butter and jelly.

There is no time to go back on decisions. That’s what I know. And I’m learning from my family that we do what we have to do when we have to do it. We just do it.

When I want to bark, I bark. When I want to eat, I ask for my favorite. Turkey burgers. If I don’t ask, I won’t get them. And if you don’t work hard for what you want or need, it won’t just magically happen.

When I wanted to get adopted I put on my smile for my picture at the shelter jail. I tried not to think about the things that could happen wrong. Or not happen at all. I had to be positive. Just like now.

I believe in my persons. And the things that are in their control, they will try hard to accomplish it. We don’t give up in this family. We take a long time. Yes. But we don’t give up.

We all have times in our lives when things may seem impossible. And that’s the time to see how determined we are. So go after what you need. And do what you have to do when you have to do it.
