This Is It

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. And I am just so grateful. Grateful that I’ve had this time at the farm.

I’m grateful that Fruitycake made such good friends with the horses.

I am grateful for so many things that I have experienced the last few weeks. Just like all of the places I have been to. Some more than others, yes. Most of all, I’ll miss the me that I was here. Because none of us stay the same when we leave somewhere. Anywhere. But I also know that I’ll go to another place I’ll love. And I’ll be a new me there. Isn’t that exciting?

Some may have wished that we could have stayed here forever. But the truth is, this isn’t our home. It’s someone else’s dream. Someone else’s home.

A farm that has it’s own family. A farm that has its own heartbeat.

And although it welcomed us with open arms, it’s time to go. It’s time to leave it to its life and to its growth. This is it.

Sunday, we go.

I’ve learned it’s ok to be sad when you leave someone or some place you love.

But you have to make your own way. You have to live your life. You have to follow your heart.

So on we go. On to the next place. We are headed to Panama City, Florida.

Then we wait for word about that Italy place.

And that’s where our hearts are leading us. It doesn’t mean the farm is any less special than Italy or any place someone loves. It just means there’s many places that we all can call home.

This is it. We all have one life. So go where you know your heart is happy.
