Patient As A Horse

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Some things take a lot of patience in life. Like waiting for dinner. Like waiting to see yourself first thing in the morning. I can’t barely wait for that every morning. That’s how good looking I am.

Our family feels like we have been waiting for something for awhile. Most recently, we’ve been waiting for the right time to get to that Italy place.

And it just hasn’t been the right time so far. The persons didn’t think the boat would be good for me. Because I had to be in a kennel for a week. And I’ve got old bones that just don’t cooperate sometimes.

Then, I got sick. That was so hard.

And now that I’m getting better, we don’t want to waste any time getting to our little house. But we have to be patient right now.

Because the flights for us depend on many things. A lot of persons share the flight with dogs so that it’s less expensive. But when there are many people, many things can happen. So. We wait. Like a horse. Patiently. Without complaining too much.

Now listen, I don’t know if a horse is patient. But I don’t know if a horse isn’t patient. And it just fits. Ok?

I do know that patience is hard to practice patience when you want something. When you need something. But patience also is a trait that is to be worked on. It helps us in life not to get angry at little things. It helps us in life to appreciate where we are at the time.

Patience teaches us to be more observant and open.

We are at the farm for a few more days. But not sure after that.

I guess I’ll have to be patient to find out. But I have lots of practice at that. Like a horse. I think.
