That’s The Spot

This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. I have a suggestion for you today. A suggestion that you may not have thought about before.

You know, us dogs have lots of suggestions. But persons don’t seem to pay attention.

Persons ignore us sometimes. They feel like their problems are too important to be solved by a dog. Or two. Wrong.

Girl Person has been keeping a lot of worries inside lately. More than usual. I see her not able to sleep. I see her with water on her eyes. I see her try to be strong and hide it. She doesn’t hide it good from me and Brickle though. Especially at night.

Brickle also has trouble sleeping because Girl Person does. And he has aches and pains too. And I don’t like any of this.

So yesterday, when we had to move houses again, I made it my goal to show Girl Person that I was there for her. I wanted her to know that I have a magic spot on my head that when you pet it, and you open your heart, you feel the Fruitycake magic.

You feel better.

You feel loved. Everyone needs to try it. But I wanted Girl Person to try it first. And she. Finally. Got it.

She knew as soon as she pressed that spot, the magic white stripe on my furry head, that she would always come to me for comfort. For joy. For relief. For a smile. It does all that.

That’s the spot.

Life can be so so hard for persons. I feel bad that they have so many pressures and problems. But when you find your own magic spot that helps you get thru those tough times, you’ll be stronger.

You have to find something or someone to help you. We all need help.

I can’t solve Girl Person problems. But I can be there for her. Sometimes that’s all you can do for someone. And I’m here for you today too. If you could rub my magic spot, would you?

Embrace the helpers in life. You may be someone’s magic spot one day too.

I wish I could rub your magic spot Fruitycake. I really need it. I could use a big hug too. It is so cold here and my body is broken everywhere. All I do is cry. Everything on me hurts. I can hardly walk anymore even with a walker? I wish I could pack up and move someplace warm, but the person I live with refuses. I wish I could see you guys and give you something for Christmas. I am almost 83 years old and just trying to hang on for my two senior Dachshunds. I love you all and can’t wait for you to all be safe and settled in your little house in Italy. It would make me happy to see you all finally happy. You have been thru so much. Sending love to you all❤️❤️❤️❤️
