This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I am a big hesitant to write this because yesterday, I thought Boy Person was coming back. And well. He fell asleep at the gate.

They closed the gate to the airplane and then. He called Girl Person in a panic. She found him another flight, but it doesn’t take off until today. And then…if he doesn’t fall asleep at this plane, we will see him today in Orlando. The day has come to be reunited. Maybe.

Girl Person says that it’s going to be an all day affair to pick him up. It’s a long way to that Orlando place. And we have to pack a dinner for us and for Boy Person too. Because he’s going to be tired and hungry. And we need him to feel better. Because the persons still have a lot of talking to do. After all the resting and eating.

Boy Person has had a rough week. And we’ve had a rough week without him. Family means so much, doesn’t it? You rely on each other not just for what you do for each other. But just the other’s presence is comforting.

There are so many little moments in the day that don’t mean much when you don’t have your family with you.

We didn’t realize just how much Boy Person even being with us meant to us. We’ve been trying to keep busy. But no matter how busy you try to be, your feelings always catch up with you.

Whatever the next few days bring, we just know we will be happy when we see Boy Person again.

Seeing him again means more than any house in Italy.
