This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Brickle tells me that we have to work today. He says it doesn’t happen that often. But when we have to “work” it means that we get filmed all day doing what we normally do but for someone else. I have no idea what that means, but I guess I will find out.
He said it is how we afford to eat and to sleep in a bed and drive around.
When I was a stray, I had to work every day too. But I didn’t always get anything in return. Sometimes I would and sometimes I wouldn’t. I just accepted that it was a part of life to struggle. Brickle says all of us struggle. Just in different ways. And I can definitely see that. Seems like persons pick a different problem each day to worry about.
So when we had a chance to sit by the river the other day, we took advantage of the opportunity. Girl Person said that even though she had to work, it mattered where you work. She said that even nature works.
She said you have to move and to think every day. It’s called being alive. It’s called making your life as good as possible.
Down by the river, I see how nature works. Things flow in the direction they are meant to. The animals go with that flow.
They don’t fight the current of the river. It would be no use.
They use their energy to make the currents work for them. They breathe and eat and sleep after a day filled with enjoyment. Do you?
Think about why you work and how you work. Are you fighting yourself? Do what your heart loves and the rest will find the current.
