Groceries. Trash. Life.

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. What is life? Is it the times when you’re on vacation? The times you party down like it’s 1999?

Or is life the day to day activities like when the persons get groceries or take out the trash or wash the car?

I wondered that yesterday when I saw them doing all of those things. Because they seem to do all of those things more than the planned, so called fun times. Why is that? Is life just the errands? Or is it all of the normal things on a to do list mixed with the fun times? Can’t everything be a fun time?

My favorite thing to do since I was a puppy was to sit and watch other people and dogs. You can learn a lot from watching a normal person on a normal day doing normal things. Do they smile? Are they looking at their phone? Are they talking to strangers when they pass by?

What are they doing? Why are they doing it? I like to think about that. People are my favorite show.

You may liken daily life to ice cream. I love vanilla ice cream. That’s kind of ordinary I suppose. But when I add in peanut butter which is also ordinary, my ice cream is extraordinary.

Life is about a lot of normal moments that make up memories you’ll remember one day.

You’ll cherish them one day. I wish I could go on another ride with Digby. Even if it was just a mile. Oh, how I took that for granted. Don’t do that.

When you have to do the things that seem normal, find a way to make it fun. Whether that is singing. Whistling. Planning for the future. You are not a robot doing errands.

You are a living soul that deserves happy mixed in to the normal moments too.

You are sure a wise pup Brickle, yes l love vanilla ice cream. When I was a kid my dad used to make homemade vanilla ice cream oh it was the best. I do miss that so much , Haven’t had it since, he went to heaven when I was only 15. I am now 58 older than he was when he left the earth, I would like another ride with him too and all the pups that have followed him we would need to use a truck. LOL. Yes we all have to do errands, clean house, grocery shop and take out the trash, but remember all the good times and yes smile and say hello to that passer by. Enjoy your weekend Brickle, don’t let anyone fool you today 4/1 …. Robin and Crystal the beagle 🐕‍🦺❤🐾🙂
