Like The Last Day Of Vacation

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. When was the last time that you took a vacation? A little time for yourself?

Persons think that vacations have to be planned. Scheduled. Every minute should be filled with something to do or something to see.

But what if we took a vacation from planning? What if we lived today like we were on the last day of vacation and wanted to truly experience what was around us? What would we see? How would we feel?

I spent the last few days with my Aunt Veronica and I really liked being with her. We didn’t have any certain agendas. We just hung out. And on the last day I was with her, we took it even slower. Better. It was wonderful.

If you look around you and see all the traffic and crowds and nonsense that fills most persons days, wouldn’t you agree that it’s a waste?

Just because something appears normal and just the way of life doesn’t mean it’s good. It’s not as good as the last day of vacation. And there is no reason every day can’t be that good.

We must make changes for ourselves. We must recognize when something doesn’t work and change it.

We don’t have to live like everyone else. Live like the last day of vacation.
