This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Do you push yourself each day? I know I do.
And today, we have to push our Big Barking Biscuit Buggy RV a long way. Actually…we have to pull it. All day long.

You may not remember, but the very first campsite we camped at in 2016 was in Jekyll Island, Georgia. And we are going back to the same place today.
Just like last time, we have a long way to drive. And we are probably going to get there pretty late. It really feels just like yesterday we were there.
Like last time, we are feeling guilty that we couldn’t put everything together and packed away to leave earlier. Like last time, we are hard on ourselves. And I think I’ve found a new realization. Most of us are too hard on ourselves. Most of us expect to be treated less than kind…from ourselves.
What makes that happen? What makes it ok to harshly be critical of ourselves when we do try? Sure. There are times that we do have to be honest with ourselves and improve. But for the most of times, ask yourself a question like I asked myself this morning. Does it really matter? Is it really a big deal?
I do wish we could get there early today so that it wasn’t dark. It’s not the most ideal of circumstances but the good thing is, we are going somewhere fun. We are going to help the sea turtles. We are concentrating on a goal to visit the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. And what time we get there today doesn’t matter. We just have to get there.

Have you ever complained about something in your day and then something else happens, you wonder what you were worrying about it in the first place.

You would go easy on me today. Go easy on you today. Be as kind to yourself as you would be to someone else.
Tomorrow is a new day. And a new chance to do things different if you want to. Don’t worry about things that really don’t matter in the long run. Worry about you. Go easy on you.
