News From 2 Traveling Dogs
A rescue visit, new adventures, and getting back to why we started.
Hello, 2 Traveling Dogs family!
This is Girl Person. Life lately has involved a lot of rustico responsibilities, trying to sell it, recovery, and figuring out what comes next. But underneath all of that, our purpose hasn’t changed: helping animals and showing others how they can help, too. We’re taking steps back toward that purpose, and we want you right here with us. Brickle and Digby? We are getting back to our purpose and back to where YOU led us!!!
September 3: A Rescue Visit in the Lake Como Area
On September 3, we’re planning to visit an animal rescue in the Lake Como area of Italy. This visit is about helping, listening, and learning from the people doing the work every day.
As we refine our plans for our rescue project back in the States, we want hands-on experience to help shape what we do next. We also want to help our community understand how animal rescue efforts differ between countries—the challenges, the approaches, and what we can learn from one another.
We aren’t arriving with all the answers. We’re arriving ready to work, ask questions, and bring those lessons back to you. Our hope is that this visit helps build a thoughtful foundation for future rescue efforts while introducing you to animals and people whose stories deserve to be shared.
This is us getting back to our purpose. Thank you for helping us find our way there.
A Little Encouragement for September
Fruitycake’s September Affirmations for Dogs and People Workbook is a chance to pause, find some encouragement, and spend meaningful time with your dog. With daily affirmations, activities, recipes, and a certificate, it brings a little Fruitycake wisdom into your month. He considers himself very qualified. Especially if encouragement comes with snacks.
Your purchase also helps us raise money for our in-person rescue visit.

Wear Your Support
Our Girl Persons for Animal Rescue shirts carry a message close to my heart: one Girl Person can’t do everything, but together, we can do so much more.
You don’t have to do rescue work alone to make a difference. Sometimes, even what you wear can start a conversation about helping animals.

Boy Person Has Entered the Junk Lab
Boy Person—also known as Nate—is putting his ideas to work through Flamingo Dingo, our new offshoot of 2 Traveling Dogs!
Remember his treasure-junking videos? This is where those forgotten finds get their next chapter. He’s turning discarded and overlooked items into fun creations and unusual contraptions. Some will be practical. Some may require an explanation from Boy Person himself.
Behind the fun is a bigger hope: showing how reusing what we already have can help the environment, and developing future projects that help wildlife, too. We want to share ideas you can try and invite you to show us what you make.
Please watch the new video, subscribe to Flamingo Dingo, and read about the environmental project connected to his latest creation. Those small actions help us introduce this new effort to more people.

Thank you for being here through the difficult chapters and helping us begin the next ones. Whether you purchase a book, wear a shirt, watch a video, or share our work, you are part of what makes these steps possible.
With love,
Girl Person, Boy Person & Fruitycake
