In Any Language, That Stinks

This is Fruitycake. I go to school with Girl Person every Thursday. We take two buses and sometimes even a train to get there.

It’s the highlight of my week, because I like to be with other persons. And I like to learn Italian too. Little does Girl Person know, but I am way ahead of her in class.

Yesterday, we had a new teacher filling in. And Girl Person was on her best behavior. There were some other people in the class too from Switzerland and Israel. And Albania too.

Even though people in Italy usually don’t like to use air conditioning or heat, they keep the windows open in class sometimes until they feel a draft. And then they act all frantic that they will catch a cold.

But no one was asking to shut the windows yesterday. Because there seemed to be a a big stink coming from my direction.

Now, you have a few choices when you smell up a place. Act like it was someone else. Or act like you’re asleep. Or if you’re like Girl Person, act like you don’t understand or act like you don’t smell anything at all. Even if your dog is stinking up the place stronger than a field of garlic.

Yeah, that stinks in any language when you’re trying to make a good impression on the new teacher and the only impression you make is the cloud of stink that took over the whole school. I know it’s shocking a dog named Fruitycake doesn’t always smell sweet. But not as shocking as the smell I am able to produce.

Please help support the movie for May!

I perhaps should have thought twice about eating so many beans the night before. I perhaps should have wondered if the muddy path, the crowded bus and the dirty sidewalks would add to my allure.

But alas, it was too late as I was sitting on the floor all innocent. I just hope they didn’t think it was Girl Person. Her grade just got lowered in that case. In any language, that stinks.

Thank you for your loving support this week of the blog, our daily videos and our rescue pleas. We are currently involved in a rescue of some farm animals here and will keep you updated soon. There are many behind the scenes jobs we have and we appreciate your support! Our immediate weekend needs are groceries and allergy medication for me! Any blog contribution helps and is so appreciated!

Oh, my! Fruitycake, tell me you stepped in something very stinky and that’s why you smell! Poor Girl Person, I hope the people in the class don’t blame the smell on her. You, Fruitycake, need to own up and maybe shake it off! lol! Maybe it will rain and you can have a shower. Take care!
