This is Peanut Butter Brickle. There aren’t many things that I need to admit. Mostly because I always tell the truth. Remember. Dogs don’t know how to lie. We don’t need to. We always take the high road.
But persons? They have to admit things sometimes because they don’t want to acknowledge the truth. They may not believe the truth. They may not see the truth. Until it can’t be hidden. I’m talking about my persons right now. They really need to wake up.
But more than anything, they need to sleep too. They really. Do.
Yes. There was all the preparation and travel to even get us here.
There have been many behind the scenes trials. But many behind the scenes laughs. And yesterday? To save money, Boy Person took back the rental car all the way to London. It took him 9 hours. And ended up saving him 15 pounds. Yes. Pounds as in money. Losing weight isn’t that easy.
I don’t know why my persons are so hesitant to admit they are tired. That they can’t remember what day or what time it is. I don’t know why they are so hesitant to admit they are going to bed late. Eating late. Sleeping late. Because the time is well…still not sorted out. In their bodies and minds.
Sometimes we aren’t as strong as we want to be. Sometimes we need to take a break. Sometimes we have to admit it to ourselves that we aren’t perfect. Unless you’re me.
Admitting things means we make changes. Admitting things gives us responsibility. No matter what it may be about. But the good thing is, admitting is the first step to being better. So here is to some sleep and rest for my persons. And for you? You know what you need to do. Admit it.
