This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Life is full of distractions. Sometimes we need those distractions to have the best life.
Sometimes we use distractions to keep us from our best life.

Because maybe it isn’t easy what we really want to do. Or because we are scared about what we need to do.

We have had many distractions on the path to that Italy place. Just every day worries for the persons like working takes up much of their time.

And that’s how life for persons can be. There is no choice.
But they do have a choice about priorities and not letting every day life keep them from their goals to get to that Italy place in a fun and happy way and a safe way for all of us.

Because hours and days and weeks and then years go by fast. You have to move the unnecessary distractions out of the way. Like when I move squash out of the way. I can’t stand that stuff.

So what’s happening with that Italy place? A lot behind the scenes!
The persons are trying to find a schedule that works for flying Fruitycake and I over in the best way. The options we have right now are most likely in November. We hope for sooner. But there is a lot to do.
The persons also are taking Italian lessons from their teacher in Italy twice a week. They have to study a lot. It’s fun to watch the persons make so many mistakes. Mistakes are what laughter is made of. There is a lot of laughing!
What else is happening? Well, stuff like figuring out electricity to our little house in Italy.

And figuring out where we can stay for a few weeks when we get there and settled. And figuring out how to get a washing machine up that path. Once we can walk on it!

In the meantime, we hope you’re enjoying our travels. We have been doing work for many of the cabins we show you.

And we really hope you like it. Yes. It is a distraction to travel now. But travel is what we are made of. And even if it leads us around and around until we get to that Italy place, it’s not a bad distraction to have.

It’s easy to let life take over. We can be comfortable. And yet we may find ourselves looking out our back door. Wondering what could have been if we would have not let distractions keep us from being happy.
We will get there. It’s not happening as quick as we wanted to. But we do think it’s a better plan than what we started with. And that’s how life’s distractions can help you instead of hurt you. Use what you learn along the way to lead you where you’re supposed to be.

I’m enjoying your blogs so much.
Life is to be enjoyed and I love it that you’re doing it traveling all over. Give Brickle and fruity cake a hug, a pet for me and my dog. Jake says hi.
