This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Apparently, the adventures that Brickle has been on the last many years with the persons have been extensive. Fun. Scary sometimes.
And well, sometimes, I get the feeling they got a bit lost.
When they first adopted me from that shelter jail place, we drove around in a big truck and RV.
And we took some wrong turns sometimes. But we always found a way to get where we were going. Even if it took longer.
Now that we are in a small car driving around, I guess we can still get turned around. Stuck. On some wrong turns. Brickle said yesterday that it was just like old times. And he liked it. I was a bit nervous.
But I had to admit, the wrong turns somehow feel right for this family. It’s how we figure things out. We did a lot of figuring out yesterday.
We got to the area where our cabin was. And one wrong turn led to another. Then we were dragging the car loaded with all our snacks up the rocky ledge.
Boy Person wanted to turn around. But there was only one way to do that and it would have meant slipping down the mountain.
That didn’t seem like a very good option.
So we kept going. And dogs and more dogs were chasing the car. I was barking back. It was utter chaos. And we were still lost until a nice lady directed us.
When we got to the cabin, Brickle and I were so happy. Brickle thought it would be a great idea to make Boy Person laugh at our troubles. And so he jumped over the ledge by the river and into the water with Boy Person jumping in after him.
And again, that wrong move, that wrong turn by Brickle was right. Because we are were laughing.
Livin. That’s what we are doing. A wrong turn in life can certainly cause problems. But maybe those problems lead you to where you’re supposed to be. And if not, well, laugh about it. That’s livin.
