This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I have many nicknames. Perfect is my favorite one. Because I am perfect.

But Girl Person also calls me her baby.

The love of her life. Bricky. And lately, she’s been calling me Rickety Brickety.
Now. Don’t get mad about it. I think it’s a funny name. I think persons take life too seriously. And when you find an opportunity to make someone laugh about their problems, I love it.

It’s no secret that I don’t get around like I used to. Now, don’t get me wrong. I still get around. I just take a little while longer to get places. Or to get up. And that’s ok. I wear my age with a bit of pride. Because these paws have walked and traveled for many, many miles.

Just like a car needs tune ups, I do too. I have to get serviced with extra peanut butter and treats. And naps. And massages. Being rickety isn’t that bad now, is it?

Age is just a number, true. But it means something too. Wear your experience well and take care of you. Bless others with your wisdom and experience and show compassion because you can understand others more.
Rickety Brickety? Oh, I like it. I am rickety and creaky and move slower.

But all that wisdom can be heavy you’ve earned. So give some of that to others.

Sweet sweet beautiful Brickle❤️I would be willing to bet those paws of yours have walked thousands of miles over your 14 years. You deserve a good rest now, with plenty of massages, naps and lots of peanut butter of course and other treats. You will always be girl persons baby, just like my little 16 year old boy will always be my baby. I love you Peanut Butter Brickle ❤️🐾🥰🙏🦮
