This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. It’s been an interesting few days here at the little farm we are staying at. I’ve already learned lots of things.
And I’ve seen lots of things.
I also started having some little problems with one of my eyes.
And that little thing is requiring that I go to a vet person today. That’s not such a little thing. Because it takes a long, long time to get to that vet person. But when you trust someone, that’s not a little thing. It’s a big thing. I promise to keep you updated when we find out what is wrong with my eye. My appointment is not until 3 pm. So please don’t worry big time.
But my eyes are still letting me see the beautiful flowers here at the farm.
The persons tell me that they are flowers that you can eat. Can you imagine? I had no idea and I love to eat everything!
The persons here tell me you can’t eat all flowers though. Just ones you know are safe and grown without any chemicals around. You also wouldn’t want to pick any by roads. Rules. All of the time.
But that’s ok. I suppose rules for special little things makes those little things even more special and rare. Like us dogs! There is no one like each of us. And you! There is no one like you. That is a little known fact but a very big one. There is certainly no one who will ever be like Digby.
We haven’t had our house on wheels for a couple weeks now. It was scary at first. But I’m finding out that it was best for us to start traveling in a different way. We get to keep learning as we go. Like about these little flowers! We would not have known!
Growing as individuals and learning is not a small thing either. It’s a big thing in your heart. If you are scared about learning, don’t be. Just like these flowers you can eat are delicious to some people, they may be scary to others.
But learning doesn’t mean you have to do. But it sure does give you more options.
Growing little things is what the farm does here and we are staying until Friday.
We also have many other scary things going on this week. We have to sell our truck and get a very inexpensive car to get us to that New York place to catch the boat in August. This. Is. A lot.
But for now, I’ll be watching the little flowers grow and taking them into my heart.
