This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. I hear things people say. I listen. I observe.
Brickle is teaching me that. Brickle is teaching me that observing and listening teaches you about an individual.
And that their actions speak louder than any words.
So when I heard someone say the other day that they were “proud” of something, I thought maybe that they were super famous. Or had a lot of that money stuff. They sure were proud of whatever it was that they were proud of. And it didn’t sit too well with me. Even if I knew how to sit.
I love persons. But I don’t love how some feel that they are more important than overs. I thought about how different it would be if people were like mountains.
Humble.
A Mountain is humble? It sure is, and I have met a lot of them in the last few months.
They are tall. Majestic. We work to climb up them.
But what happens when you reach the top of the mountain? You have a view. A view of others or something else that is beautiful.
The mountain gives something else the glory. We should be like the mountain. Humble.
In a world where everyone is out for themselves, admiration and praise, sometimes it’s ok to sit back and be you. The best you. And you don’t need anyone to tell you that you’re great. Be the you that you can be. And don’t make others feel less to make you feel more.
