This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I might be a picky eater. I might have a taste for the finer foods in life.

But not everyone can be so picky. Here at the barn, there are a lot of friends that we see every day.
The birds that come to our bird feeder.
The squirrels who knock down aforementioned bird feeder.
And the raccoon. We don’t see him because he likes to dine at night. But his favorite food? A salad.
On the menu, it’s listed as The Raccoon’s Salad.
You see, our persons eat a lot of vegetables around here. And sometimes they don’t use it all. So instead of putting it in the trash, they like to make the raccoon a salad. But he is as picky as me. He doesn’t like kale. He doesn’t like beets. And he sure doesn’t like onions.
Now. We know we should not feed wildlife all of the time. But we are leaving here next week to get back on the road. And that means our restaurant will be closing.
It’s true. Sometimes we can’t make a difference for someone every single day. But don’t let that stop you from being kind. That stranger you opened the door for or let ahead of you in the grocery store line may never cross your path again. But they are in your path now. And your actions matter. They do matter.

We may not be able to offer The Raccoon Salad forever. But only for another week. And raccoon? We hope you enjoy. And we hope you share your joy. We’d appreciate an online review. Four paws up!
