This is Digby Pancake. Yesterday was a very cold day. In fact, we spent most of our time inside. Looking out.
It was snowing. And the wind was blowing outside. But inside, we were pretty cozy.
When you have extra time on your paws, it’s a good day to do some inner reflection. You know. Think about how you make the world better. And to think about how the world sees you.
You make think that others know your heart. You may think that others know how you feel. But no one can truly know that. They can only see what you put on the outside.
They can only see how you act. They can only listen to what you say. They can only watch what you do. They can’t see or hear what you don’t say. They can’t see what you don’t do.
I think sometimes that persons think others should know their intentions. Even though us dogs can read you better, and know if a person is good, you don’t have that luxury. So what can you do?
You can work on your inside. You can work on showing others who you are by your actions. Don’t expect others to see inside your heart anymore than you can see inside someone else.
I know it’s hard to realize that to others you may seem cold. When in fact you’re the opposite.
But make an effort to be who you want others to know.
The real you. It’s wonderful to be good on the inside. But be good on the outside too.
