This is Digby Pancake. Sometimes I have to put my paw down. I have to be a little demanding. I have to ask politely when I want something, but also howlingly forcefully. That’s what I am doing today.
You see, the woods and the creeks and the waterfalls have been so much fun. I love them all.
But just like Girl Person ate too much sauerkraut this week, well, you can have to much of a good thing.
It’s always good to change it up. Whatever that it is. Sometimes you have to pack it up and move.
So I thought about it. And I wanted to do two things. First, I miss the farm life.
So the persons said there was a farm nearby where we could park for the weekend! They asked us if we wanted to go to a farm instead of a park. Uh, YES!
We can stay by a barn! We have a horse shower we can use. Yes. I said horse shower. And this all sounds like fun!
Then, I had another request. I am missing visiting with persons. I am missing staying put for a couple of weeks. And. Just. Relaxing.
So the persons said we had friends nearby that said we could park at their property for two weeks! And we can relax. And we can wash our car. And we can clean the Big Blue Treat Wagon. And we can talk to them from a distance with masks on outside.
We can have our own space and just be ourselves and stretch out. Yes. I requested all of this.
You see, sometimes we have to speak up. We can’t expect others to read our minds and know we would like a horse shower.
So won’t you come with us to a farm this weekend?
We have always found that seeing how things grow helps us to learn and to grow. Life is about change.
Even if you are quite content where you are, it’s good to change. How will you know if you don’t try it? You may always wonder.
Time goes by very, very fast. If you blink, it is over. Don’t wait to change and grow.
So today, we head to Marble Hill, Georgia and a farm! Stay tuned!
