This is Fruitycake. If life has its ups and downs, certainly, living on top of a mountain does too. Even though it is mostly up, up, up, as Girl Person says, it does have its downs too. It can make you very tired. Especially when you are carrying up a lot.

Our friends from that Switzerland place brought us some things we could use.

It took Boy Person and Girl Person all day and most of the night to get it half way up the path. And it will take them two more days most likely. They are very tired. And as much as I want to help, a Fruitycake can only carry so much when he is barking and looking out for wild pigs.

The Swiss friends are tired too because they had to drive many hours.
No one said friendship was easy.
No one said life was easy. No one said life up a mountain carrying heavy things was easy. But here we are.

Someone asked us where our house was today. It’s so far up the mountain that no one really knows.

And all Girl Person could say in Italian was Su, su, su! Up, up, up! And they laughed.

We want to fill social media with happy ways to an animal’s life. We give our time and resources to this cause. We have worked daily for over a decade to grow our pages to help provide free exposure to shelters and rescues at no cost. We reserve space for animals in need. Not sponsors. But we need your support.
If you’d like to help us continue this cause and mission which includes blogs, videos and more, you can contribute any amount here. We cannot do this without you. Head to https://tinyurl.com/Fruitycakeblog to help!
Life is full of ups and downs. Maybe you’re in one of the downs right now. We understand. We do. Maybe you’re in an up. And that’s great!
Can you help someone who is down?
We are all on the same path. So stop and help when you can. It will be your turn one day too.

Hang in there; you’re learning more everyday on how to work with that mountain and that house. I just wish you guys could rig up a pulley system to move things up the mountain.
