This is Fruitycake. I’ve learned something this week. When the flowers pop out with spring, and the sunshiney starts again, new life is breathed into everything. Including me!
We want to fill social media with happy ways to an animal’s life. We give our time and resources to this cause. We have worked daily for over a decade to grow our pages to help provide free exposure to shelters and rescues at no cost. We reserve space for animals in need. Not sponsors. We don’t know if winter is over for sure. But we do know that we are weary of the rain and the cold.
Us Florida place people are not used to that winter thing.
We had a hectic few days with our Swiss friends.
They drove six hours to bring us some stuff that they thought we needed…and our couch! I am happy to report that! So happy. I never thought a couch would mean so much to me. And to my persons.
It’s like with every little or big thing we carry up that mountain, we accomplish just a little more. But we couldn’t have done it without you. And we couldn’t have done it without our Swiss friends.
There is no way that any of us can do it all alone. No matter what it is that we are trying to accomplish. Even being better versions of ourselves takes others because it makes us put forth effort.
And we can all get caught up in our own lives.
Spring is a good time to restart to regroup and to think about how wonderful life can be when we accept help and help others. What can you do today?
