This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I don’t ever like saying goodbye. But sometimes you have to. Persons always think of goodbyes as a bad thing. But it doesn’t have to be that way. It doesn’t at all.
We start packing up today. To say we have enjoyed our time in the Cotswolds place of England wouldn’t be fully explaining how we feel. Girl Person said it’s been one of the best memories of her life.
I was able to rest. And explore. And walk many miles.
Fruitycake got better with the Allergy Monster. And he got confidence. And he definitely got his voice back.
But the three weeks has passed. And it’s now time that we make our way to that Italy place. It’s going to take us about a week to get there. We have a big journey ahead.
Saying goodbye is necessary for us. And although I had one of the best times of my life too, I don’t think that is the end of my journey.
We can’t think of life like that. We have to keep moving. We have to keep reaching for goals. We have to keep dreaming! Dreaming is what keeps all of us alive.
So, we start packing up today. Boy Person has to go get us a car for tomorrow. And we have to get some snacks for the road. Yes. I love those journeys.
So I’ll celebrate the goodbye. I’ll try to keep all the memories locked up tight. And if pictures can last forever, so can feelings.
And I’ll feel them all. Even the tears. Yes. It’s hard to say goodbye too. But tears mean love. And I loved this place. I did.
