This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Once again, just a reminder that I’m not a real raccoon. But I’m sneaky like one!
In just two more days, we will be on a jet plane headed to that England place for a month. A jet plane! Me and Brickle and Girl Person.
Boy Person will be flying out Wednesday night. So that he is there when we arrive. Pretty neat, huh?
I really don’t understand everything going on like Brickle does.
He knows all.
But I’m trying to pay attention and learn. One thing I’ve seen over the last few months is the amount of stuff we have gotten rid of.
The amount of stuff that we don’t need. We have to get down to a few suitcases. The bare necessities.
I know there is nothing we have as valuable as each other. Everything is replaceable. Except each other.
And even though I was a stray and I didn’t have anything, I still knew what was important then. And I know what is important now. Value is in the ones we love. Not things.
There will be a lot of unknowns the next few weeks. But that’s ok. We will make mistakes. We will get frustrated. We will wonder if this was a good idea. But every big decision in life is like that.
Take value of what your goal is. And if it’s worth it,
if it is of value, it will be worth all the sacrifice. Ask yourself every day if you need that.
