This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I know that I’ve been writing the blog a lot lately. But I’m on a roll. A warm roll with peanut butter would be excellent right about now.

I’m feeling pretty good. And I have to talk to the vet on Thursday to see how healthy I am. I know I have some problems. But the years have been good to me so far. And I want to keep going. Where? I’ll reveal that soon. Be patient, now.

My persons are working really, really hard. Boy Person is working on our friends’ bus.

And Girl Person is finishing up her cookbook for you. She has been testing a lot of recipes.

And me and Fruitycake have been taking those tests. Happily.

I think it’s nice that we have a personal chef. Anything that is done for anyone individually is rare. It seems like everyone wants to be the same.

But we are all in need of personal attention. Many never get that. So when someone does something for you, wow. Is that special!

So I appreciate Girl Person. I appreciate all she does. And I love that she is personally sharing with you some of my favorites. I had a paw in this book too. So did Digby. For so many years.

If you haven’t made someone feel special, why not try to do that today? Do something for them they wouldn’t do for themselves.

Or maybe call them. Talk. Give your time to them. As you get older like me, you realize how precious time is. And how much you’ve wasted on individuals who were not deserving of that time. You don’t have to keep wasting your personal touch. Make today the day you turn it around.

I know I’m special. Because the persons have told me so. Sometimes we need to hear it. Or be shown we matter. Or taste test a recipe. That works too.
