Girl Person had one of those days yesterday when she thought she felt something was wrong. Her heart hurt.

And it just kept nagging at her.

She said she was worrying a lot. And I kept trying to reassure her. But she told me to take care of me. That’s funny. Because I only know how to take care of her.

Girl Person said her heart is tired. It’s been worrying a lot about me. And it’s been worrying about Fruity’s allergies.

Her heart has been worrying too about our little house in Italy and getting there. But she said her heart is longing too. It seems to be working overtime.

She said a heart can also want something so bad it hurts. Like for all of us to have good health. And for all of us to get to that Italy place in a fun and safe and enjoyable way. A lot has to be right for that to happen. And a lot is still unknown.

When the heart aches, it can mean something good or bad. But the way that I see it is that if we feel our heart, we are alive. We are living.

We have emotions. And emotions can propel us in a good direction or a sinking one. I choose to think Girl Person will use this time to learn. To make decisions. And to really find out what is important.

Life isn’t all peanut butter and cookies.

Sometimes we have to go thru difficult times to get to the absolute best times. And let me tell you. The best times are ahead.

We move today to another rental. And it’s a farm! Stay tuned!
