This is Peanut Butter Brickle. There are not many times in our lives when we see clearly. There are not many times we see the possibilities in life are far more expansive than the doubts in our heads.

The door to the rest of your life is open.
It really is. I’ve been seeing that for myself lately. I was really down. I really was listening to all of the doubts in my head telling me I shouldn’t enjoy my life and do the things I want to because of my age.
Sure. I know that we all have our limitations. But when we don’t try, wow. We sure do miss out.
Although I like comfort, I also like living. I also like doing the things I’ve done for many years. It makes me feel like “me” to travel. I need to feel like me.
I never want Fruitycake to think he has to act or feel like everyone else.
I want him to do the things that make him who he is. So I have to show him that example.
Right now, we are still not in that Italy place because we have some person things to figure out on dates. We have a little house waiting for us though. It is really ours. And yes. It has a door. But we just haven’t walked thru it yet. How exciting is just thinking about it? So exciting to me.
The last few days we have had some new experiences. And it’s made me feel alive. Like me. The door to the glamping tent opened up new travel possibilities to us. And I’m happy that I got to try it.
But today, we move on. To a cabin on a lake in Blue Ridge, Georgia that welcomes dogs! And it’s another door, just like another day, to walk thru.
