This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Has anyone ever told you that they would always be there for you? Has anyone ever let you down when they weren’t?

Persons have a habit of telling others that they will help someone in a time of need. But when that need comes about, they often don’t follow thru. They think someone else may help. Or they simply don’t really want to help.

Boy Person says that when you want to do something or make time for someone, you do. But if you don’t want to in your heart, you won’t.

So when I had to go to another vet person yesterday, and I found myself in a time of need.

I looked for support. But I didn’t have to look for a long time. And I didn’t have to look far. Because Fruitycake was there. Because I had asked him to be. He was on the floor with me. Because he wanted to be.

Yes, Fruitycake is afraid of the vet office. Any vet office. He is scared of the noise. He is still a little scared that he will be taken away. But he put his feelings aside because it was what he wanted to do.

Have you ever been asked to help someone? Did you help if you could? Or did you hesitate? Did you make that person or animal feel bad they needed help?

I think we all have times when we need help, whether it’s hard times or old age or problems of every day life. It’s often the hardest thing to do to ask for help. So when we ask, and we receive that help, make it your goal to in turn, help someone else when they need that in the future.

We didn’t get great news yesterday from the vet person. And we still have some decisions to make. The persons want to help get that lump monster out of my mouth in a way that is the easiest for me. They said that if we have to drive to our favorite vet in that California place, we will do that. He has helped me and he helped Digby for years. We trust him. There’s nothing my persons won’t do to help me.

But we have w few phone calls to make today. And by next week, early next week, we will have a better plan of action. But I have no doubt that even when we are feeling our lowest right now, we have a lot of you on the floor with us.
