This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. Sometimes, we don’t know what we are missing in life. Because we don’t know it’s out there.
Sometimes, we don’t realize that our soulmate is out there. Because we haven’t met them yet.
Sometimes, someone is waiting for you to discover them.
And sometimes, yes sometimes, you have to search and search to find them.
That’s how I think about our little house in that Italy place. It hasn’t been lived in for over 20 years. That’s 140 dog years! And I’m glad that the persons found it.
But what you may not realize is that we haven’t met our little house in person.
We’ve only seen what you are seeing. Yet, we are taking the chance at getting to our house soulmate.
Even though our Italian teacher took videos and pictures for us, we knew even before that we were going to take a chance just by seeing a few pictures online.
The persons knew the little house had a history. But we don’t know it yet. The persons knew it needed work.
But we don’t know how much yet. The persons knew it was a risk. But the best parts of life are ones you are scared to take. Here is a new video of more of the property!
I needed rescuing when I was in that shelter jail just like Brickle and Digby. The persons only saw a picture.
They didn’t know me. And yet, I was meant for them. That’s what I think about this little house.
We don’t know it. We haven’t met it. But we all need each other. We all need rescuing right now. And just like we will do the work to help the house, the house will be helping us.
I can’t tell you what it means to us to read all of your comments and kind words.
We have received far more love than hate. And we are focusing on your love.
Because it is far more beautiful by leaps and bounds!! Love rules! Love is king!
We may not have met you in person either. So let’s take on this adventure together. Let’s learn about our house together!

Wow what a leap to Italy ! I am enjoying the start of your adventures in Italy 🇮🇹 my daughter and family lived in Italy for 8 years ,they loved it and came back home to America with the cutest mini pen rescue from Italy and she is a wonderful rescue.
