This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. As we camp in different places, I learn new things all of time.
Like learning that persons float around in that water stuff on boats.
And that they actually find joy and happy times riding them around. In this campground place, they call them pleasure boats.
Although I have no idea why someone would want to spend time in that water stuff, I guess we all have our happy things.
For me, it’s every meal and every snack.
For Brickle, it’s any time he can relax and watch everyone.
But as often as I see the pleasure boats come by on that water stuff, they don’t stick around for long. They drift and they float.
They are here one minute and gone the next. They may wave to us on the shore every now and then. But that’s all there is time for as they drift by.
It got me to thinking. Do any of us have all the time we want to have? No. But we spend our time doing things that we don’t want to be doing.
Do we have time for happiness? Or are we just letting it pass us by?
There are so many wonderful parts of life. I’m learning this too. Love. Comfort. Safety.
If we have those things, how important is our own happiness? Very important. The most important.
We may see others pass us by on pleasure boats. They may wave to us and we feel like we could never be that happy. But we can be.
We can make up our minds to be. Don’t let happiness pass you by. Get your own pleasure boat of life.
