Allow Me To Introduce Myself

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. It’s true that some of us may need no introductions. True.

But some of us aforementioned have decided that as we get older, we do want to introduce ourselves. We do want others to know our story.

And yet, I’m not sure when that exactly happened for me.

One day, I was growling and defensive of everything and everyone. Including myself. Then one other day, it happened. I wanted to say hello to strangers. I wanted to be seen. I wanted to be heard.

I wanted to introduce myself. Because I should be recognized. And so should you.

As we get older, we may think we don’t have as much to offer. We may think that no one sees our value. But for others to see our value, we have to see it first. And when I finally realized that, I became more confident. More outgoing. More. Me.

Its a special thing to learn about ourselves. Talk to others. Tell them your story. Listen for yourself. It’s a good one.

So glad to meet you Brickle 💓 and yes the senior doggies have alot of value. They show us love and patience. Crystal the beagle (15yrs 9mo) has shown me so much love e this year. The human is now a stay at home doggie mom, 1st time being at home this past year since I was a kiddo. 100% love being with my pup. She needs her momma in her golden years. She is certainly my BFF
