This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Over my 13 years, I have amassed quite a following for my corn dog tail. Yes. Quite a following.
Probably because it is such a mystery. And I am such a mystery.

I like being a mystery. We all are, really. And it’s good to have a bit of mystery about us. Others can ask us questions about ourselves. And we can talk about our family and where we are from and what we like.

Over the years, after people ask how old I am, (they’ve been asking that since I was six months old), they ask what kind of dog I am. Then after that, they ask why my tail is like “that.”

My persons often say I’m a rescued catahoula mix. They say my tail just grew like that most likely. A vet person one time said that I may not have had enough room to grow in my mommy’s tummy.
But really, no one knew for sure.
They did a dog dna test on me over ten years ago when they were new tests. And all it said was that I was a catahoula mixed with 40 different breeds that said “undetermined.”
But when we adopted Fruitycake, Girl Person wanted to try it again. She said that she really wanted to know about me just as much as Fruitycake. And I did the test. And the results may surprise you.

So today, it’s your turn to guess. What breeds am I? Did they find any relatives of mine after all these years?

Is there a reason for my corndog tail? Other than it is fabulous?
I’m interested to see what you think. We will have the answers for you tomorrow! Ready? Go! Get me some peanut butter. Also, you can get me a corndog. I have a feeling that there will be a lot more in this club. Who wants a pawtograph?
