This is Peanut Butter Brickle. Where are you at right now? No. Not your location on a map. But your location in life.
When we came across an abandoned boat the other day, it really made me think. I love thinking. I just love it.
It made me wonder how the boat got there. it made me wonder what happened to the boat.
And it made me wonder if persons can learn from it. Because the fact is, we can learn something from everything.
Although the boat couldn’t talk, I did hear it’s misery. Apparently something had happened to it. It couldn’t be out on the water any longer. And yet, it still looked like a boat.
But it was wrecked. And if anyone ever wants to use it again, they will have to fix it. But the first thing they need to do is find out what’s wrong with it.
Do you ever feel like your life is wrecked like this boat?
Maybe you aren’t where you thought you’d be. Maybe there are many things that need to nene fixed. But the first step is acknowledging what is wrong, what the problems are. It will only be at that time you can start on the path to repair. But it’s hard to take a look at ourselves. It’s hard to know where to start.
A boat may decay and disappear with time. But you are still here.
No matter what shipwrecks you have experienced in the past, if you are still here, there is still hope. It’s time to get back on the water of life!
